Checking out NYC on the way back

5 hour flight from HFD to INT (Winston NC) with one fuel stop 2W6 (St Mary’s Municipal)
After some wedding fun in Stokesdale NC,
the return trip, cruising up to 162 MPH, tail wind pushing us home.
Another quick (cheap) fuel stop at 2W6.
Day turns to Night, NYC is in sight.
1400 ft over the Hudson, buildings are bright
Controllers guide us out and on our way to HFD
The journey home took 4 hours.
and we have time to spare.

Our club was founded in November 1946. 75 years later we celebrate, recognize our origins, and aspire for another 75!
